The best way to reach the PODC'2001 site by air
is via Providence airport (PVD). The table
below summarizes transportation from this airport
and also from Boston (BOS) and New York (JFK) airports.
You should plan your flight so that you arrive at your
destination airport well ahead of the last bus departure
(as given in the second column of the table)
otherwise you may not be able to reach Newport the same day/night.
International travelers should take into account
the possibly time consuming
passport control and baggage claim procedures.
Following the table, we give detailed descriptions of the trips from the
airports to Newport that are summarized in the table.
These details are provided as an example and you can configure
your trip to arrive in Newport much earlier than the
time given in the third column of the table.
Every effort have been made to ensure accuracy of information contained in this document.
