You will be making two different presentations for your PODC 2020 paper. (This was mentioned in an email sent on July 1 from “PODC 2020 HotCRP.”)
Video presentations
These presentations will be available on YouTube for conference attendees to peruse before the conference begins as well as during the conference.
Deadline: Your video must be uploaded by Wednesday, July 29.
Creating your prerecorded presentation: Excellent instructions for creating your presentation were prepared for STOC-2020. Please refer to their document and video for instructions about recording your presentation. The maximum file size is 1 GB.
Uploading your video presentation: When you read those instructions from STOC, please note that the procedure for uploading your presentation is different for PODC-2020. For PODC, all authors will receive by email an upload link for their videos.
Time limit:
- If you have a regular paper, then your prerecorded presentation should be no more than 25 minutes long.
- If you have a brief announcement, then your prerecorded presentation should be no more than 10 minutes long.
Live presentations
You will give your live presentation during during your session (August 3-6).
If you have a regular paper, then your live presentation should be no more than 5 minutes long.
If you have a brief announcement, then your live presentation should be no more than 3 minutes long.
The live sessions will be recorded by the conference organizers and put on YouTube, but there is nothing you need to do about that.
