Twenty-Second ACM Symposium on 
Principles of Distributed Computing 
(PODC 2003)
July 13-16, 2003, Boston, Massachusetts

PODC is a conference that focuses on research in the theory, design, specification or implementation of distributed systems. PODC is sponsored by SIGACT and SIGOPS.

PODC 2003 is supported by generous contributions by the Hewlett-Packard Company, IBM Research, the Microsoft Corporation, Sun Microsystems Laboratories.

  This lecture series is being organized by Nancy Lynch of MIT.
• Pre-conference tutorials on July 13:
  • Incentives and Internet Computation by Joan Feigenbaum and Scott Shenker
  • Content Protection Technologies by Jeffrey B. Lotspiech, Tushar Chandra, and Donald E. Leake Jr.
  PODC tutorials are free of charge.
• Sunday night will feature a social event hosted by Sun Microsystems Laboratories!
• The first  Dijkstra Prize in Distributed Computing will be presented.  Click here for the award's call for nominations.
• Security in Distributed Computing Special Track, chaired by Amir Herzberg. Submissions on any topic in the intersection of security and distributed computing are solicited.
• A selection of the papers is planned to be published by Springer-Verlag's journal Distributed Computing, continuing with a past collaboration.
