Fourteenth ACM SIGACT-SIGOPS Symposium on Principles of Distributed Computing
(PODC)
PODC is a conference that focuses on research in the theory, design, specification
or implementation of distributed systems. PODC will be held in Ottawa (Ontario,
Canada) from August 20-23 1995.

Feb 10, 1995: Paper submission deadline
Apr 14, 1995: Acceptance/rejection notifications
May 20, 1995: Camera-ready versions of accepted papers due
July 15, 1995: Late registration fee charged after this date
Aug 20-23, 1995: Conference dates, see you in Ottawa!
Major changes from previous PODCs
This year PODC is inaugurating a best student paper award. A paper is eligible
if at least one of its authors is a full-time student at the time of submission.
This year's recipient is titled
Collecting
Cyclic Distributed Garbage Using Heuristics to Control Migration
by Umesh Maheshwari and
Barbara Liskov from MIT.
