The conference and workshops will take place at the Grand Hotel Salerno. To your knowledge we have 50 rooms reserved for PODC participants and 25 rooms for the first day workshop. Participant should fill the reservation form and send it to the hotel. The conference will happen during a touristic period and it is advised to book a room as early as possible. Please be aware that the official website of the hotel is grandhotelsalerno.com and that there is a fake website grandhotel-salerno.com that clearly will try to cheat you.

The hotel is located at Lungomare Clemente Tafuri, 1 and is at walking distance (about 600meters) from the Salerno central train station: keep left when exiting the station (or walk straight to the seaside and take a left).

Air Travel & Trains
To reach Salerno you can to fly to Naples Capodichino. As an alternative you may consider Rome Fiumicino. In both cases, the next step is to take a train to Salerno.
From Naples Capodichino you can reach the Naples central train station with the “Alibus” shuttle: it runs every 20 minutes (schedule). Cost is 5€ and the ride is about 15 minutes, but the time heavily depends on traffic.
There are plenty of trains from Napoli to Salerno; travel time is approximately 1 hour.
From Rome Fiumicino you can reach the Rome central station “Termini” with the Leonardo express. It runs every 30 minutes. Cost is 14€ and travel time is about 30 minutes. There are plenty of trains to Salerno; travel time is is approximately 2 hours.
