Features of PODC 2001

• PODC 2001 will be run in concert with a special Workshop on Principles of Mobile Computing (POMC).
  • POMC has its own program committee and submission procedures.

• In honor of his sixtieth birthday, PODC will feature a series of lectures illustrating and celebrating the vast impact of the work of Leslie Lamport.
• This year, accepted brief announcements will be presented in the conference as short talks.
• There will be no poster session this year.
• The second annual PODC Influential Paper Award will be presented.  Click here for the award's call for nominations.
• 2001 marks the beginning of a collaboration between PODC and the Springer-Verlag journal Distributed Computing.
